COMET established its presence in Côte d’Ivoire at the beginning of 2015 by creating the 100% commercial subsidiary, Africa Trailer.
The range of COMET semi-trailers marketed in Cote d’Ivoire includes dump semi-trailers, flatbed semi-trailers, tanker semi-trailers, and low-loader semi-trailers, all compliant with UEMOA standards and ADR regulations, particularly for hydrocarbon tankers.
Since then, Africa Trailer has successfully established COMET semi-trailers in the Ivorian market and has become a major player in the transport sector by developing partnerships with leading truck dealers.
Continuing its commitment to ongoing industrial development, Africa Trailer Industrie was established in 2020. The factory, which will manufacture COMET semi-trailers made in Côte d’Ivoire, is set to become operational in June 2021.
